A web platform where any author can claim their own URL, describe a mood in plain language, and have an AI-generated theme dress their work the way they imagine it. I shipped the entire stack — frontend, backend, infrastructure — end to end, without a co-engineer in the loop.
The seed was DeerDevil, a single-author novel viewer I hand-tuned for one Korean dark-fairy-tale anthology — twelve episodes, a typography of its own, antler-shaped dividers, and a typewriter-paced opening. Over a season it became the visual canon for a platform: any writer can claim a slug at /{author}, describe a mood in plain Korean, and watch the platform return an AI-generated theme that renders the work the way they imagine it. The original DeerDevil still ships at its own slug, as the cathedral copy every other writer's space is measured against.
